Go into the arena tonight where there record setting streak ended 10 days ago and dominate. No one in the west is even close this year.

Impressive run and a top team for sure, but take it from a Red Wings fan that the regular season doesn't mean a thing in the NHL.

No argument there, but it makes watching them a lot more fun when they are doing good.

Those amazing blackhawks just went down two games to one against the seventh seeded red wings. Like I said, in the NHL the regular season means nothing.
Someone needs to take Bickell's and Shaw's heads off. Those two are a couple of hacks.

Well I have finally sobered up from the extended CUP CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATION!!!!
Through miracle of cut and paste here is a review of the Blackhawks amazing achievements:
24-game point streak: The Blackhawks set an NHL record right out of the gates, earning a point in 24 straight games, as they posted a 21-0-3 record to start the season. Ray Emery starts 10-0-0: Emery became the first goalie in NHL history to start a season with ten wins before recording a single loss (he finished 17-1-0). President's Trophy: The Blackhawks earned the franchise's second President's Trophy, awarded to the team with the best record in the NHL, by finishing the season at 36-7-5. Selke Trophy: Captain Jonathan Toews won the NHL's honors for best defensive forward. Jennings Trophy: Corey Crawford and Ray Emery combined to allow the fewest goals in the NHL. The comeback against Detroit: No Blackhawks team ever had won a playoff series after trailing three games to one. The 2013 squad achieved this over the hated Red Wings, winning game six after trailing entering the third period in Detroit, and clinching the series with an OT-winner from Brent Seabrook in game seven. Eliminating the defending Champs: The Blackhawks did what no other team had done in the playoffs for over a year, beating the Los Angeles Kings in LA and ending the King's chances at repeating their 2012 Stanley Cup Championship. The Stanley Cup Final: Whether it was the thrilling triple OT victory in game one- one of the longest games in Stanley Cup history- the two goals in 17 seconds to clinch the series, or just the fact that the Blackhawks were able to prevail against a heavily-favored Boston Bruins team, winning one of the greatest Stanley Cup Final series of all time certainly was a massive achievement. 1st team with multiple Championships in salary cap era: Since the induction of the salary cap to the NHL following the 2004-05 season, no team had won the Stanley Cup more than once. One of the best ever: The Blackhawks were a combined 52-14-5 in 2013 (36-7-5 in the regular season, 16-7 in the playoffs), ranking them amongst the most dominant single-season teams the NHL has ever boasted. 269 wins: Since the 2008-09 season, the Blackhawks lead the NHL with 269 combined regular and post season victories.
In addition, the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Campbell Bowl can be added to the Hawks looting of the NHL's trophy case.
