More Avatars added.
I one says Friends don't let friends vote Democrat If someone knows where I can get one that says Friends don't let friends vote Republican I will add that but the site I found these avatars on only had the Democrat one,.
I didn't added the Democrat one to single out the Democrats because i would have added the republican counter part if they had it.

I went with the old standby for now. I don't really indulge that much anymore, but I used to smoke so much that the ZIG-ZAG Man had me tattooed on his arm.

Years ago when I was cleaning out my grandma's house after she died, I ran across a long forgotten stash box from when I was a kid that still had some EZ Widers & Zig Zag "wheatstraw" papers. What was funny was you used to get 150 papers for like 50 cents...now it's probably 2 or 3 bucks for 25.

I used to have an online record store and was buying boxes of albums from auctions. I think I might have found a few of your possessions....

My originals, plus when everyone I knew started switcing to CDs they gave me all thiers. Little known fact: 4 out of 5 "Frampton Comes Alive" albums still have pot residue inside from using them as trays, lol.

My father-in-law was a VP at Columbia records (masterworks - the classical music area). One of the perks was that he got a copy of everything they produced. Needless to say my wife had a great columbia record collection...
First time I visited his house he had 26 crates of records in the garage he hadn't even looked at.

I found about half an oz in one box and small remnants in both boxes and albums themselves a few times.

Reading everyones comments about LP's reminded me of my own collection. I still have over 2K original pressings all of them in heavy archive sleeves with he pressings stored in rice paper liners. Many are top shelf MOFI virgin vinyl copies. I hope my kids don't dump them on the "free market" cuz I'll have them till this body turns to dust.
If I ever get around to it, restoring the Harmon Kardon ST-7 and Thorens TD 125 to playable condition would be a great project. The ST-7 isn't a tweaker candidate, but the TD-125 has a Sumiko tone arm and a Grado Ruby cartridge. As I recall, these recording sound better than anything digital tries to reproduce.
Those tables played thru vintage pre and power amps are worthy of preservation.
Oh, and then there are the shellack pressings from my Gram, Gramps and parents. 33's and 17.5 scratchy originals complete with covers, artists I never heard of!

a friend of mine told me about the time when shortly after they moved into a new apt- they came home to find a pkg delivery to whoever the previous tenent was & there was no fwd contact about him- so they opened it to find two ceremonials swords that seemed too light in weight... later to discover that they were hollowed out & filled with dope.
needless to say- that previous tenent nor the sender ever tried to contact them to claim their ummmmmmmmmmm 'swords'.

Not too long ago I sold a nice condition Phase Linear 5100 . They don't make them like that anymore. The old recievers from the 70's are very hot.Reconditioned ones go for quite a bit. I have a Pioneer 1010 that I use in the garage.

My Pioneers still crank too, even though they're 35 years old. except for the speakers 'cause they double task as lamp tables, we gots the new fangled stuff in the living room, but our family room is a throwback for sure. that's where the old tube tuner is & still works... the turntable still works & my records- a few i still listen to that i can't find on CD. & i have an apple labeled abbey rd album sealed up tight hanging on the wall...

I still have my old stereo too, although it's relegated to my "man cave" in the basement. We've went through 3 or 4 modern pieces of s**t in the living room, but that baby's going strong.
The same with TV. Probably 5 or 6 of those plastic boxes in the dumpster, but my grandma's RCA console works like new yet, lol.

I think this max number for moderators(unless a someone who would make a really good one wants to be one) , they will remain constant not changing unless a moderator does something wrong or wants to quit.
