This is likely one of the last performances by Gordon Lightfoot.

Kenny Loggins at the Belly Up Tavern. Same venue as Gordon Lightfoot. A great place to see a show.

Good shots. I snapped hundreds of concert pix with my little Kodak 110 back in the day, but most of them never turned out too well. Got some pretty good shots of the wasted friends I attended with though, LOL.

Roger Waters and crew performing The Wall last year. By far the best show I've ever witnessed. An absolute pinnacle of musical art. The performance was stunning, as close to an exact reproduction of the studio recording one could expect. The stage was amazing. The sound absolutely blew me away. This man is a living treasure! BTW: he is a total leftist Obama supporter. Go figure! If you know The Wall, this was the opening guitar riff... We don't need no education! Wicked School Master... The children singing the parts are selected from local talent as the tour moves across the country. How cool is that? As the concert progressed, The Wall was built across the stage. At least 200 feet across. They both built and removed bricks as band members appeared in various locations during the presentation. A TOTAL mind bending experience as the the drummer was suddenly 20 feet in the air, the lead guitar player was 10 feet above him and Waters was stage bound. The lights would go out for a second and suddenly the wall was rearranged, performers were in different positions but the sound seamlessly flowed. GE Smith from the Saturday Night Live band played the lead guitar originally performed by David Gilmour. That's him at the top of The Wall. And that's Roger's shadow with his arms outreached as the guitar riff peaks in the middle of "Hey You". I wish the board allowed uploading videos, cuz there are few choice clips anyone who knows this genera would love to see...

(i think)

(i think) Good for the Kid! Saw Aussie PF at a magnificent venue here in downtown San Diego called Copely Symphony Hall - last year. What a tribute to these icons. Also saw Frank Zappa during his "panty" collection tour (late 70's's) and Mark Knoffler during his "Sailing to Philadelphia" tour in that place. A wonderful venue and excellent artists to witness in such a perfect acoustic environment. The place is designed to be an auditorium that does not need amplification, so any artist that shows up with loudspeakers is over the top. Aussie Pink Floyd was a time travel to Dark Side of he Moon and forward. Very much worth the dollars to see. If anyone seeing our posts has an interest, and they have the opportunity, they most assuredly owe it to themselves to see Aussie Pink Floyd. No disappointments!

GE was highly underrated. Saw him with Bob Dylan back in '91...Bob was not at his best that night, but GE carried the show.
