All Things Must Pass. One of the best albums of all time. "Beware of darkness" is a beautiful tune. - Watch out now, take care - Beware of greedy leaders - They take you where you should not go

BTW GovGill, Watching that video reminded me of one of the weirdest concerts I've ever attended. Billy Preston opened for Uriah Heep. Friggin weird because the damned hippie audience booed Billy off the stage in order to get Uriah Heep up. I felt real bad for Billy, even though it was a weird combo, I enjoyed Billy's music. Sure didn't need to bring any weed to that show cuz it was being freely passed around. But we did anyway. :-) Say, do you know about the Watkins Glen event in NY state in the 70's? It had a bigger attendance than Woodstock and there was only three bands scheduled. Something like 600,000 people. They lost control of the ticket sales, fences got mowed over and it became a free concert. Turns out, one of my current best buds met decades later was there at the same time me and a fine hippie babe and I were there. If I remember correctly, it was The Band, Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead. Three days of total hippie debauchery!

I've seen the whole thing, but had somehow missed "Beware of Darkness", so of course I looked it up today. What a great song, and they did it in that concert, so here it is. Thanks for the discovery man.

If I remember correctly, it was The Band, Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead. Three days of total hippie debauchery! I can't say I've seen a lot of shows, but I tried when I was younger. That must have been sweet, the 5th Beatle opening for Uriah Heep. Too bad they had to drive him off stage. As somebody said in the comments for that "Isn't it a Pity" video, why didn't Billy warn me before he slaughtered me with that solo lol I've never heard of Watkins Glen. Sounds like it was a wild time, and fine hippie babes are always a plus. I would love to have seen The Band, and of course the Allman Brothers before Duane died. I did manage to catch the Dead in 1990 at Foxboro, long after their great shows had come and gone. Their keyboardist Brent Mydland had just died, and Bruce Hornsby sat in on the keys for that show. We ran down and jumped out of the stands and onto the field, and ended up 20 feet from the stage for the entire show. Good times.
