Landon Donovan is clearly in form and one of the best American players but Jurgen Klinsmann left him out for the next set of US World Cup qualifiers.

I can understand your frustration with him then. So close to the world cup qualifier matches too.
I'll be happy when England qualifies (if Wayne Rooney doesn't let us down).

I have a hard time believing England will not win Group H and qualify automatically, even though Montenegro (of all sides) has a 2 point lead. If not, they will surely be in a playoff but anything can happen then.
BTW, the last time England played in a World Cup in Brazil was in 1950. I'm sure even though you were not yet born you know about the greatest upset in the history of the game (if not in all team sports) took place in one of the group matches?

If you're referring to USA beating England in 1950, yes that would have been quite a shock but well played. Football is a Sport and for one team to win another must lose. May England win the next encounter.
