<kill 'em all> TAMPA Fla. (Reuters) - A 4-year-old Florida boy was mauled to death by two pit bulls at his uncle's home, said authorities on Sunday, who suggested the child may have let the dogs out of their cage to play with them. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the boy, Logan Shepard, had been left alone on Saturday inside the home while his mother and adult relatives went into a bedroom to talk. The pit bulls had been enclosed in a cage outside the house shortly before his arrival, the Sheriff's office said in a statement. Authorities believe the boy may have gone outside and released the dogs, said sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter, who said the exact circumstances remained unclear. Around 10.30 p.m., his screams were heard around the Tampa-area neighborhood and two sheriff's deputies who were already in the area raced to the home where they found him in the front yard with two pit bulls standing over him. He died at the scene from injuries inflicted by the dogs. The sheriff's office, which is investigating the incident, said the boy's relatives did not realize that he had left the house until they heard the screaming. news.yahoo.com/florida-boy-4-mauled-death-pit-bulls-officials-180335113.html

But my pitbull that just mauled your kid, killed your cat as well as your dachshund is so gentle. And I keep him on a leash at all times or in my 6' fenced in yard. He would not hurt a flea. Someone was obviously taunting him and made him get all upset. My po po pitbull.

The dogs from hell. Their owners are often drug dealers or chicken sh1t cowards who want to be intimidating.

I posted on the old YMB's and possibly here about the pitbull that ran into my garage one saturday and began ripping my daughter's cat apart. I pulled my pistol and emptied the clip into the SOB. Not really happy that i had to do that but I'm sitting there thinking 'somebody is going to be mourning a dead pet tonight, why should it be us?'. Cops came to my 'shots fired' call but never even asked to see the weapon. Took about $1500 to put the cat back together. You can get a tractor-trailer full of cats for free but what the Hell, it was my little girl's pet and you do what you gotta do ;-). All the vets were calling her "miracle kitty"

The dogs from hell. Their owners are often drug dealers or chicken sh1t cowards who want to be intimidating. My neighbor has two. Keeps them in his back yard. I never see them. However, his adult daughter has one, and she brought it over to Daddy's house to stay when the hole family went to an out of state wedding. Well, her pit bull got out and was in the trees in my front yard, blended right in. When I went to take my mini schnauzer out on his leash the damn pit walked up and starts sniffing. I was terrified but stayed calm and spoke in a soothing tone of voice. Next the I knew the pit had my dog by the head and neck right next to me. I could see his canine poking into my dogs head. I screamed HELP as loud as I could over and over and over, while the pit hung on. Finally about 10 min. later the pit bull let go, and some neighbors came running over. The pit just wandered around. One man was able to get the owner's phone number and called the police. They called a friend of mine for me and she rushed me to the after hours emergency vet. 6 hours later I was able to take my dog home, alive, bit with sutures around half his neck and on top of his head. The Daddy came over a week later and apologized, and tried to pay my vet bill, trying to get me to agree to drop the charges. After all, his widdle adult daughter never had a problem with the pit, and he was SO gentle and sweet. I said no. The daughter never came to apologize. I saw them in court, got my vet bill paid, plus she was fined, and her sweet pit is now a registered dog attacker. One more incident and he goes to dog hell.

Ohio infant attacked and killed by dog CLEVELAND (Reuters) - An autopsy was under way on an Ohio infant who died this weekend after being attacked by a relative’s dog, a coroner’s office said Monday. The 7-month-old boy, Jonathon Quarles, Jr, was fatally mauled by his step-grandmother’s dog around midday Sunday, according to the Dayton Police Department. In a 911 call released by police, a neighbor of the woman who was babysitting Quarles told a dispatcher that the woman came to his door, holding the baby in her hands "and the baby’s not breathing.” The child was not responsive by the time medical help arrived, said Chris Williams, superintendent of investigation for the Dayton police. The dog was identified by its owner as an American Staffordshire terrier and resembles what is commonly known as a pit bull, Williams said. The dog was removed from the home following the attack. news.yahoo.com/ohio-infant-attacked-killed-dog-144658740.html

American Staffordshire terrier, common name PIT BULL. So much interbreeding that I seriously doubt the woman's dog was a American Staffordshire terrier.
