<those "great wages" Costco pays are really making a difference LOL> In the footage, you can see a live, wriggling, orange worm in a package of Kirkland “Fresh Wild Pacific True Cod.” Under the Facebook video, Binh writes, “Looks careful when buying "fresh" fishes at local Costco or you will find this!!! Im quitting sushi for now lol. This vid was taken few days ago at Costco Store in Spartanburg SC btw.” Nguyen posted the video (you can watch here) on March 14 and it has already racked up over 270,000 shares. While five people have given the post a “like,” it’s probably safe to say that most people are less enthusiastic about what they saw. news.yahoo.com/blogs/oddnews/man-finds-live-worm-in-package-of-costco-fish-204344548.html

Obviously the EPA's budget must be increased. The corporations that are fouling the ocean are spoiling our food.

Cod often has worms in it. What do you bet Peteet eats beef after the thousands and thousands of pounds recalled for e. Coli? Salmonella, anyone? And he whines about a worm in cod, and blames it on Costco because they pay their workers better than WalMart. SMH.

Oh, I see. Pete is blaming costco for worms in codfish. Brilliant. they need to save back some of those Cadillac salaries they are paying and spend it on researching their suppliers Because I live on the coast I tend to eat a lot of fish. Let me warn you Pete, WASH your cod before you eat it as it often has worms, actually wash all your fish before you prep it.

I don't understand why Tea Baggers are so squeamish regarding those parasites. The Tea Baggers worship the Wall St parasites who suck the financial life out of working families. And the Tea Baggers are in support of the phony catfish being imported from Vietnam where they are raised in antibiotic laced water that runs through the agent orange jungles. If not for the negative comparisons of Walmart to Costco these Baggers would be backing the store and heckling their critics.
Anything for the agenda.

7 tons of hummus recalled for possible listeria contamination Food manufacturer Lansal has issued a voluntary recall of over seven tons of hummus due to concerns of listeria contamination. Texas health officials said they identified possible contamination in Target Archer Farms Traditional Hummus, prompting Lansal to recall many of its hummus products sold at Trader Joe’s, Target and Giant Eagle. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall affects more than 14,800 pounds of hummus and dip products, which are listed on the FDA website. So far, no illnesses have been reported in relation to the recall. Consumers who purchased one of the recalled products can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. The listeria monocytogenes bacteria cause serious infection and even death in young people, elderly adults and those with compromised immune systems. Short-term symptoms of listeria among healthy adults may include high fever, severe headaches and abdominal pain. www.foxnews.com/health/2014/05/22/7-tons-hummus-recalled-for-possible-listeria-contamination/?intcmp=obnetwork
