There seems to be a problem for Firefox users here. The 'page loading' icon on the browser tab spins, and spins, and spins, and.........
Appears to be ads loading but I'm trying to get to the bottom of it. Chrome and IE seem to load fine.
If anybody else is having this problem I'd love to hear your story

Forum seems to load fast enough, just that spinning icon in the corner working overtime.

hmmm interesting. disabled some plugins and it may have fixed it. let me know I was just coming back to tell you I figured it out. Its the colorsmear. I knew it was a plug in. I noticed it when I was posting the last article. I just happened to catch the colorsmear icon when it loaded, then the spinning icon stopped.

I just now switched 'shoutbox sound' on and the problem came back, switched it off and problem went away. still working my way down list That would explain why it came back for me. Remember way back when when, when you had trouble with that pop up? I went back to my earliest pm's to find the list of your plug ins. I wondered about the sound one. I was looking at plug ins that you have that I don't as that is where the culprit is.

wonders how those fancy smile emocons might do? The icon perpetually spinning, is what was being discussed and it was issues with settings in ff.

If there's any good news, it is that I don't detect any loss of performance when the spinning happens

I've been a FF fan from day one but Chrome is not the end of the world once you get used to it
