It is interesting to note that although there never was any direct evidence connecting Bruce Ivins (who eventually committed suicide, or so we're told) to the 2001 anthrax attacks, Obama signed an executive order prohibiting opening any future investigation into those attacks. What we do know is that it was US military grade weaponized anthrax.

got any links to the reasoning behind the exec order? that's actually quite interesting I only have the documentary to go by. I can't find which executive order it was, never mind the reasoning behind it. If it's true, it makes zero sense other than a deliberate attempt to cover it up. You have to remember that there was a lot of bulls**t finger pointing regarding the anthrax, first to try to connect it to al CIAda and 9/11, then to Iraq. And when the gig was up, they tried to find a patsy to nail it on. All of these were fails, including Ivins. The fact is, just like 9/11, the anthrax attacks were NEVER properly investigated, just a pretense of an investigation. But the propaganda machine worked to the point of getting most people to believe it was either al CIAda or Iraq. It's pretty obvious Obama doesn't want anyone to get at the truth.

"obsessed with the college sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma" freaky "Ivins describes episodes of anxiety, paranoia, and depression for which he was medicated;[33] these are referenced in the summary of the case against Ivins. A clinical psychiatrist engaged by The New York Times to analyze the released documents found evidence of psychoses..." "...testimony of his former therapist, social worker Jean C. Duley. Documents show that Ivins was ordered late in July 2008 to stay away from Duley,[76] In her handwritten application for a protective order, Duley wrote that Ivins had stalked and threatened to kill her and had a long history of homicidal threats..." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Edwards_Ivins

Even if it's all true, there still never was any direct evidence connecting Ivins to the anthrax attacks. Prior to Ivins, they tried to make a case against Steven Hatfill, virtually ruining his life. And prior to that, it was Al CIAda, then Iraq. And following Ivins' death, they closed the case. How much more obvious is it that this garbage is a deliberate cover-up?

Hatfill was given millions of dollars for his trouble. Unfortunate that he was falsely accused, but false accusations happen all the time (see Richard Jewell) It is also unfortunate that Ivins did not stick around to defend himself

"Hatfill was given millions of dollars for his trouble. Unfortunate that he was falsely accused, but false accusations happen all the time"
True, especially when there's a specific agenda that requires a patsy. When there was no connection to Al Qaeda or Iraq, there was always the lone nutjob card. Hey it worked for the Kennedy brothers and MLK (at least for the gullible) so why wouldn't it work in this case? In this case, they first pulled the wrong lone nutjob card so they had to pick another one.
"It is also unfortunate that Ivins did not stick around to defend himself"
Yeah, wasn't that just so convenient? The FBI closed the case as a result of his death even though it still had NO direct evidence to connect him to the anthrax attacks. That it might not have been Ivins (or he didn't act alone) was inconsequential, the propaganda machine did its job.
