I worked with this one guy and I always picked the music or station when we drove or played the radio, and one day he said, "you have great taste in music," and I had to laugh. I said, "you mean I have the same taste as you!"

Allman Bros, Live at the Filmore East. One of the best live performances of all time.
In the 70's, I spent a lot of time in the Carolinas and Georgia. Got to see them before Duane passed. They did free concerts in local dives around Macon. Those were the days.
Greg's latest album "Low Country Blues" is pretty darned good. A departure from his usual but a good way to use his maturing voice.
Eric Burdon lives in the desert out this way. Saw him years ago around Palm Springs during Spring Break, sitting in a sidewalk cafe admiring the view. He didn't think he would be recognized. I embarrassed the hell out of him.

Hank Williams Jr is the most arrogant son of a bitch performer in the history of diva s**t heads. Saw him in the 80's and his opening line was something like "I flew here today on a private jet and all you suckers out there paid for it". He was NOT joking. Still, he has a body of work that is admirable. And his Pop was an amazing trend setter. My Dad could sing his tunes with absolute perfection.
