It sounds like you are just horsing around, but having spent a huge portion of my life in manufacturing, I can just about guarantee you there's at least one guy in his office working this problem: 'ok if we take three raisins from each box, we'll get x more boxes per shift, which is x more cases per day, which is................... hey Bill, run this down to QA and ask them if we can get away with this!'

So if utah or mexico offers better price then they get to be called california raisins.

If there are, they're not as big of scoops as they used to be. Seems like only about half as many raisins now.
