Somewhat to my surprise, he was too much of a $%#$@ to reply to your post directly, choosing instead to hide on another thread to do it. aibafs.freeforums.net/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=140&page=1 - posted half an hour after the OP of this thread. The 2016 GOP presidential campaign may prove to be the greatest RINO extravaganza ever. And probably a put-on

But if you want to play the blame game, would you then say that 9/11 was a Clinton failure, and it's his fault? I mean, it was planned all on his watch, and his FBI and CIA were oblivious to all the warnings and intel. Bush really then inherited 9/11. www.nytimes.com/2012/09/11/opinion/the-bush-white-house-was-deaf-to-9-11-warnings.html?_r=0>>>On Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal. On April 10, 2004, the Bush White House declassified that daily brief — and only that daily brief — in response to pressure from the 9/11 Commission, which was investigating the events leading to the attack. Administration officials dismissed the document’s significance, saying that, despite the jaw-dropping headline, it was only an assessment of Al Qaeda’s history, not a warning of the impending attack. While some critics considered that claim absurd, a close reading of the brief showed that the argument had some validity. <<<

Here's what repugs had to say about Clinton strikes against al queda in 1998. "I think the president did exactly the right thing," said House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said. "By doing this we’re sending the signal there are no sanctuaries for terrorists." Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.) called the attacks "appropriate and just," and House Majority Leader Richard K. Armey (R-Tex.) said "the American people stand united in the face of terrorism." And then the other half of the repugs criticized him for it. Exceptions came in the forms of Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) — who said "There’s an obvious issue that will be raised internationally as to whether there is any diversionary motivation" — Sen. John D. Ashcroft (R-MO) — who said "there is a cloud over this presidency" — and Sen. Dan Coats (R-IN) — who said: "The president has been consumed with matters regarding his personal life. It raises questions about whether or not he had the time to devote to this issue, or give the kind of judgment that needed to be given to this issue to call for military action." abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2006/09/the_truth_about/

It's fun to watch you people bicker about whose fault all this is while completely ignoring the fact that both parties got us here. Both Presidents failed us regarding 9/11and both parties are responsible for the debt issue. Check the votes and you'll see it's true.

It must be a vast liberal conspiracy to make Republicans look like hypocrites. All the deficit spending done on invading and occupying middle eastern countries and medicare giveaways to try and buy the votes of old people and bailing out the banks was all part of Barack Obama's time-traveling evil plot, that included going back and planting fake birth announcements in Hawaiian newspapers. He forced George W. Bush and the entire Republican party to vote for all that spending.

Post your evidence. How about Rice's own admission to the Senate committee investigating 911? >RICE. And that was checked out. And steps were taken through F.A.A. circulars to warn of hijackings. But when you cannot tell people where a hijacking might occur under what circumstances I can tell you that I think the best antidote to what happened in that regard would have been many years before to think about what you could do, for instance, to harden cockpits. That would have made a difference. We weren't going to harden cockpits in the three months that we had a threat spike. < www.nytimes.com/2004/04/08/politics/08RICE-TEXT.html?pagewanted=all

Saddam didn't cooperate and wanted the war. Wrong on both points. Saddam did cooperate, it was Bush who pulled the inspectors out early so he could start his invasion before spring. Yes, the "coalition of the billing". What would we ever have done without those five soldiers from Uganda? Blatant lie, since neither is bankrupt. And don't try to hand me any B.S. predictions about years from now. Since when do state senators vote for wars? Yeah, so is Donald Trump's.
