there are at least three forum admins complaining about it on the ProBoards support forum within the last 24 hours. I asked them yesterday to fix us but evidently they take weekends off. Damned frustrating since the search works great at www.aibafs.net, a site I pay for and maintain as a backup

I never use it but I see plenty of complaints about it.

I've had several complaints last couple of days, tried it myself and had trouble as well. Support will probably re-index us today

".......The search system has undergone maintenance over the past month or so to correct the issue of inconsistent results/results sometimes not appearing. However, though it may seem like the same contiguous problem because the end result is always a similar problem, it's not. With that in mind, I hope you'll bear with us while we look further into how we can get the system running at 100% with no periods of inconsistent results. Right now my admin utilities are offline so I won't be able to try my solutions until a little bit later, but I'll see if what I'm able to do is enough to fix it without our sysadmin's attention. If members wish to confirm that a post of theirs still exists and the search server is not available for some reason, I would advise having them check their recent posts....." support.proboards.com/thread/521686/search-function-broken
