LOL they caught all five hoods, and two of them had to be taken to the hospital because the homeowner gave 'em a wood shampoo with a baseball bat

wow lotsa fun this AM. Parents called cops on a young man who was in their 23-y/o-daughter's bedroom. the young man had a TPO against him and was not allowed to be at the house.
Young man gets arrested, daughter freaks and takes 90 Klonopin pills, then smashes a wine bottle on her brother's face out in the front yard. yeeeeehawwww!!!

What no ceramic squirrel? lol I was listening one night and a lady calls the cops, says her bird bath was stolen from her front yard. She calls back a few minutes later and cancels the call; she couldn't see the bird bath because it was dark. She turned on the porch light and solved the case

Years ago I got hooked on listening to a scanner and bought every new model until signal scrambling became common and I let it go. My local media and news paper are mostly Pollyanna prose so a bank robbery would be reported when the trial began. What is available today that doesn't require a degree in radio cryptography and a Lafayette Electronics store on the block, Mr Pete?

get yourself a good digital trunk tracking scanner and you should be good to go. I will say, however, that the county you live in and that famous little town near you look like they are just using good old reliable analog, so a $99 scanner would do fine. www.radioreference.com/apps/db/the project I am working on (see posts above) is to be able to monitor Kenwood's Nexedge (NXDN), which a crappy little town near me has adopted. Until now, NXDN was not able to be monitored. Now, with a pair of $18 SDR dongles and a spare computer, it can be monitored, but it's a pain setting it all up. If I'm wrong about your location, PM me the agencies you'd like to hear and I'll tell you what they use

Monitoring the DEA today on a stakeout. can't tell you what they are saying; that would be illegal ;-)
