The butter dish is out unless it's so hot it starts melting, tomatoes sometimes, bread usually, peanut butter, syrup & potatoes never.

Do you refrigerate your peanut butter? your real maple syrup? your potatoes? tomatoes? butter? bread? I'm curious. I only keep butter in the fridge. If the summer days become outrageous, the potatoes do have to go into the fridge though. Peanut butter yes, to keep it from separating. Bread butter and tomatoes yes. No on the syrup potatoes.

'taters go in the crisper, I have no cool place otherwise ... not tomatoes, even they are labeled not to refrigerate nowadays ... butter, I have some frozen, some in the frig and some not refrigerated ... bread, I have some in the freezer and take out one loaf at a time. and a hint, if you can't eat up your bananas before they get mushy ... stick them in the freezer, peel and all and save them for baking.
