Wow, more min wage cashier jobs. Not even a nice try. Hey, don't go badmouthing minimum wage jobs, not after your CONtingent has been insisting for weeks that minimum wage is just dandy as it is, or indeed too high.

Wow Kara, you've got us there, finally Americans can get out there and make $7.75 an hour! Of course, welfare pays $65,000 per year, just ask Evil...

Cashiers aren't minimum wage, or at least they weren't years ago when I did it for a summer at Kroger. With less than 2% of the workforce making minimum wage and the vast majority making it for less than a year, I'm not too concerned about it being where it is. Not many people are getting cost of living increases these past 5 or 6 years so why should that 2% get one, too? It's just the times we live in for now.

Not much, but I don't know the current numbers. All I know is that every week for one summer there was a deduction from my check that went to people I had never met and I had no choice in matter other than quit.

Yeah, Obama jobs. Part time, temp, cashier, burger flipper, floor sweeper... OK, so you prefer those 'cashier, burger flipper, floor sweeper' on welfare. Thanks for clarifying.

Jobs like that are NOT the sign of a good economy!!! I prefer students doing work like that, not heads of families!

You need skills to work at Kroger... Don't know if they'd qualify. And, IIRC, Kroger is a union shop. Don't know that either would want to work for a union shop.

What a moron. course you didn't include the population increase, which Obama's so-called job creation couldn't keep up with. You got a lot of talk about numbers. I'm not the idiot that said Obama's 20 trillion dollar debt is a good thing.
