not exactly an anti-virus, but I have run Comodo Cleaning Essentials 6 a few times and it has picked up items that Malwarebytes and AVG missed. All three of the programs i'm talking about are the free versions ;-0

I run various versions of Linux on my computers, however on the desktop I use most often I still have WIN7. I think if I ever feel the need to do a wipe of this system I'll convert it to Linux as well

I've been using GNU/Linux for 13 years, can't beat it. At one time the NSA tried to get Linus Torvalds to put back doors into it for them, however with it being open source there wasn't much point in them trying.

yep in my house I have one daughter running Linux Mint, another daughter on Ubuntu, and I run Kali Linux on my favorite laptop. I haven't found anything I can't do on my machines that i can do on a WIN-based machine
