With 2 games remaining in World Cup qualifying, the US clinched qualification for the World Cup which will be played in Brazil in the summer of 2014. The US beat Mexico 2-0 in Columbus and currently leads the qualifying group of 6 national teams. By losing, Mexico drop to 5th place and are in danger of elimination (the 4th place team will play a home and away set vs New Zealand to determine which side qualifies for the World Cup). Ironically, the 2-0 scoreline in Columbus for World Cup qualifying vs Mexico has been repeated for the 4th consecutive time (2001, 2005, 2009 and 2013).

Hopefully England will get to play you and show you how our beautiful game is played... Though with the quality of the team of millionaires we've got at the moment, I'm somewhat underwhelmed by their performance, last week our lads couldn't even manage to beat Ukraine!

That would be refreshing. We've asked several teams recently how the game is played and they couldn't show us ;-)

If we play like we played last week, our track record of not having won a World Cup since 1966 will be quite safe.

You mean like the last World Cup when Robert Green's howler caused you to drop 2 points and gift us 1? Yeah he sure showed the US how to play. I guess you forgot USA won the group and England were lucky to survive elimination. You need to hope England win the group they're struggling with to avoid a playoff. We don't have that problem.

Last World Cup we had bloody Fabio mismanaging the team, the first England manager not to be able to speak English. I agree our squad was terrible.
