This was about an hour ago. The Sisters have stopped being so pecky to the babies and Forrest, and after I took this, they all cuddled into one neat little pile.

Forrest only had to spend one night alone, because that was all I could bear after the other two disappeared. God knows what she saw, but she survived! She's a hardy little duck; knows how to be a real duck! We took her with us in the car to get more ducks, in a basket, and she is so tame now from being picked up, she doesn't even resist if you walk up to her outside. The Sisters are half grown and brain dead from living in a barn stall with a baby pool. You should see them walk on the grass. And they don't even know how to eat bugs or lettuce. Forrest follows me with the fly swatter and has learned to catch flies! Luckily the babies follow her around and copy her every move.

Here in hill territory the deer are pretty skittish due to the dense coyote population. I get a glimpse of does and youngsters every once in a while but have never seen a buck round these parts. It's amazing to watch them climb a rock face incline like they have suction cups on their hoofs.

Like you have done in some other things? before I switched laptops, I had corel software. Very navigable program with all sorts of cool stuff, and yes, I could change only the antlers. Now that I got myself back into my flickr account, I am going to purchase corel again. www.corel.com/corel/product/index.jsp?pid=prod4220093&cid=catalog20038&segid=4300004&storeKey=us&languageCode=en

duck art! Hex, I downloaded the new corel X5 or whatever and am playing with it. Got a little carried away with the bubbles, but the program is really fun. The original three ducklings; Forrest (in front), then Enderman, and Golly (gollum) in the back. So sad. When I'm outside I swear sometimes I hear them peeping, but it couldn't be, and the woods are rife with birds. I'm hearing things.

I have a picture in my head of the antlers and pine needles that I want to take, when it's done I'll send it to you by email, (if thats all right? ), I would like to see you color it.
